Falaj 1: Where Am I?

A shell always has a current working directory, the place it is standing in, and every relative path is measured from there. Getting lost is the classic beginner mistake, so this level is about orientation.

The next password is written on a note that lives a couple of directories below your starting point, in a folder that belongs to the gate. Your job is to look around, move into the right places and read the note, using pwd to ask where you are, ls to list what is around you and cd to move. Several folders look promising; only one of them holds the note that mentions the next channel.

When you read a note, read all of it: a decoy folder tends to say so. This is a simulated shell over invented files: it understands a teaching subset of commands, and help lists them. When you have the password for level 2, run login 2 <password> or paste it into the answer box.
