Falaj 4: Nested Rota

Archives package files together, often compressed, and they can be stacked. A careless person can wrap an archive inside another archive a few times, and a file name may or may not tell you what is inside. The way to know is to ask the file itself.

The rota you need is sealed inside a bundle in your home directory. Use file to see what kind of archive each layer is, unpack it with the matching tool, and repeat until you reach plain text. Expect to see at least three different formats on the way down, and check what you extracted at each stage rather than guessing from the name.

Work in /tmp, where you are allowed to write, if you do not want to clutter your home directory. This is a simulated shell over invented files: it understands a teaching subset of commands, and help lists them. When you have the password for level 5, run login 5 <password> or paste it into the answer box.
