Falaj 5: Needle Directory

Searching by hand does not scale. The stock directory holds several hundred files that all look alike, and the one you want is different in ways that a listing can show: it is larger than the others and its permissions are not the defaults.

The find command searches a directory tree by properties instead of by eye. It can test a file's name, size, owner, group and permission bits, and it can combine those tests. Work out which properties make the sheet stand out, let find do the narrowing, and read the sheet that remains.

A long directory listing is a good way to learn what a normal file looks like here. Once you know that, the odd one out is easy to describe to find. This is a simulated shell over invented files: it understands a teaching subset of commands, and help lists them. When you have the password for level 6, run login 6 <password> or paste it into the answer box.
